FAQs, Work & Business Visas
What is the salary threshold for a Skilled Worker visa in 2025?
From April 2024, the general threshold is £38,700 per year (or the going rate for the occupation, whichever is higher). Lower thresholds apply for certain shortage occupations and new entrants.
My employer does not have a sponsor licence. Can I still get a Skilled Worker visa?
Your employer would need to apply for a sponsor licence before they can assign you a Certificate of Sponsorship. We can assist both you and your employer with this process simultaneously.
What is the difference between the Skilled Worker visa and the Global Talent Visa?
The Skilled Worker visa requires a job offer from a licensed sponsor. The Global Talent Visa requires an endorsement from a recognised body in your field, but does not require a job offer and gives much greater flexibility to work across employers.
